Parents are welcome and encouraged to participate in scouting.  The purpose of this page is to provide further information on committee and activity positions for adults.  A significant fact is that 90% of Scouts who obtain Eagle rank had a parent active in the troop.

This page includes the Troop Committee Guidebook and the Scoutmaster Handbook.  Both of these documents are great for orientating your self in Scouting.  These documents describe all jobs either on committee or activities.  Please take the time to read through these books, do a self evaluation and determine where your journey will begin with Troop 62.
